Discover WV Today is an independent travel and outdoor guide dedicated to helping visitors discover the best places, outdoor adventures, small towns, state parks, historic sites and hidden gems throughout West Virginia.
We are not a generic blog and we are not affiliated with any state agency. We are travelers, hikers, anglers, paddlers and map nerds building the resource we wished existed when we started exploring the Mountain State. Our goal is simple: help you answer four questions — Where should I go? What should I do? Where should I stay? How should I plan my trip?
